New Tree of Life Model Discovered for Cataclysm

As if to tease us even more, the new Tree of Life form was discovered today. The image below is courtesy of MMO-Champion.

The model is no doubt way higher quality than the old one, however I don’t like something about the face/head. At least I think that’s what it is. It’s either the face is too long, or the leaves on the head seem too much like a clean-cut afro. I think they should feel more “branchy.” Something like the Ancient Protector model below (maybe even more so than that, since the Tree of Life model is smaller).

I guess in the end, it probably doesn’t matter too much now. Since we won’t be in Tree of Life form for long. Which is even more disappointing from a cosmetic level with the nice new model underway.

Update: Many other players seem to share my “something just isn’t right” feeling about the model.
