My specs for Restoration and Balance have changed a bit now that I’ve gotten to mess with things in a setting I’m comfortable with (i.e. in a raid with most of my addons). So I thought I’d share them with everyone who is looking for a starting point for their own specs.

I chose this spec because, after some testing, I’m not using Nourish or Healing Touch nearly enough in a raid setting to warrant picking up [Naturalist] or [Empowered Touch]. I just do way more raid healing using Rejuvenation, Regrowth, Swiftmend, Wild Growth, and Efflorescence. Plus I was finding it easier to refresh Lifebloom on the tank by just casting Lifebloom again, instead of doing it with Nourish. So that freed up a number of points, which I put into [Furor] for a larger mana pool, and thus more mana from Replenishment (which we now provide) and from [Revitalize]. I opted not to get [Swift Rejuvenation] because I’m at the new 1015 soft haste cap (that gives me something like 1.09 GCD, or something along those lines – I’ll have a dedicated haste post soon), and instead I put a point into [Nature's Ward]. Which seemed like the next best choice for me. Though really that point could go anywhere in the Restoration Tree so you can pick up Tree of Life form.
